DIVE INTO FITNESS AND FUN WITH SWELL GOLETA’S SWIM PROGRAMS
Swimming is more than just a workout—it's a lifelong skill that unlocks a world of aquatic enjoyment and fitness benefits. Our expansive pool complex and passionate instructors offer a variety of swim programs designed to cater to all ages and abilities, from introducing youngsters to the water to helping experienced swimmers reach their peak performance.

ALL AGES SWIM LESSONS
Available for both members and non-members.
Each swim lesson is customized to your skills and abilities and includes a private swim instructor assigned based on your swim needs. Every swim instructor at Swell Goleta is highly qualified and has a background in competitive swimming, water polo, or triathlons. They use their experience and knowledge of swimming to teach proper stroke techniques and water safety skills for all levels. All lessons are 30 minutes long and set up as weekly standing appointments with an instructor.

NOVICE SWIM TEAM
Novice ages 7 to 12
The Novice team trains on the fundamentals of the four competitive strokes. Technique is improved through regular swim sets and drills. Racing starts, turns, and finishes are progressively taught, building on what they’ve learned in current and past lessons.

AGE GROUP SWIM TEAM
Age Group ages 9 to 18
The Age Group team is for advanced swimmers. Children must be able to complete at least one length in each stroke, know their open turns and underwater streamlines, and do track starts and flip turns. This team trains in all four competitive strokes, with an emphasis on fine-tuning technique, building endurance, and increasing speed through regular swim sets.
*Age and ability are both taken into consideration when placing your child into a team.

Baby Swim
Introduce your little one to the joys of water with our playful Baby Swim program. This gentle class focuses on building comfort and familiarity in the water, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of swimming. Our parent and child swim lessons teach essential water skills and safety, ensuring your child gets comfortable in the water while having fun!
